MEET THE PERFORMERS

The Magic Trio: A Jazz Quintet is composed of Beau Chiasson (drums), Jonas Lee (piano), CJ Rubio (bass), Ivan Cofler (trombone), and Sean Cullen (saxophone). Although Teen Night will be their first performance as a band, each member has loads of experience playing jazz and have played together in various groupings. Brought together by Beau for this event through connections and friendships among young jazz musicians across the greater Los Angeles area, the Magic Trio is excited to perform several jazz standards for you all this Saturday, April 18th.

Silverfish, a Los Angeles based alt-rock band, is made up of Grayson (guitar), Declan (bass/drums), and twins Luca (bass/drums) and Gaia (vocals/guitar). The four young musicians have been playing together since second grade, and now write and record their own songs, such as recently dropped singles “Change Your Mind”, “Got Your Nose”, and “Your Wake”. They describe their sound as a blend of alt-rock, punk, and shoegaze, representative of the different members’ different tastes and a testament to their chemistry as a group. They are excited to join us for MOCA Teen Night this Saturday and hope to see you there!
